Love and the Collective Consciousness

I'm not a religious man, but you don't have to be to question what happens after we die. Last week my mother in law passed away after a life filled with love, laughter, heartache, and I'm sure some regret. She was a wonderful person who raised the woman I devote my life to, and for that alone, I am forever grateful. But what really happens to all that energy? Where does all that love and heartache go when our bodies expire?

While my wife spent a week in Poland supporting her family, and preparing her mother's final resting place, I got to spend a lot of quality time with my new daughter Hannah, and I learned a lot from her. The biggest lesson I got from this 30lbs bundle of joy came in the form of a reaffirmation. A reminder that true love IS actually unconditional, and therefore it is one of the closest things to the concept of GOD we can potentially grasp in our lifetimes.

With that, I believe that like the rest of us, my mother in law had an incredible capacity to express unconditional love, and that love exists within the collective consciousness that connects us all. I know it sounds a little religious, but trust me. I drink too much Tito's to be allowed in any house of worship!

To learn more about the idea of the collective consciousness, listen to Paul Chek on the Aubrey Marcus Podcast. It's literally the most insightful recording I have ever heard.
